Who We Are
Friend’s I cordially welcome to all of you on that annual presentation.
David Super Star Bodol of Tripura (DSSB) has completed its 17th year of existence with a remarkable confidence and established itself as an organization committed towards welfare and empowerment of underprivileged & marginalized section of the society. DSSB has worked with multiple stakeholders, government bodies, private sectors, international and national support agencies, individuals and multilateral organizations. In 2022-23, DSSB very closely worked with local government and central government in different projects.
During the last Fiscal, we have taken up and materialized a lot of activities such as; community-based services to the backward People, with special needs to women & children, Educational, Scientific & Social Support to the students & Persons in the field of Health, Education, science & technology, Farming & Self Employment, Income Generating Skill. Besides that, economic development must be requiring for our state backward peoples. Unemployment create a burning situation in these situations in our state.
Our Approach
We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces
This year we have done a lot of awareness programs on Science and Technology in the remote areas and schools of the state with the help of Science & Technology Department, Govt. of India. To create science awareness among the community people and students in various schools and areas, this year we have organized science fairs, science exhibition, science awareness programs like science debates, drawing competitions, science-based dramas etc. Eminent personalities of the state participated in all these events. We hope that such events will continue in our state in the coming years as well. For these successful events, I sincerely thank various prominent personalities, media, various schools and various organization of the state.
Friends, another achievement is ours this year, this is the second time we have received national award for our radio program. This is the second time our community radio station has won a national award. We received this award from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Governments of India. Of course, it is a big success for us.
We were actively engaged in ongoing projects work, using our embedded presence in communities as a particular strength. This work ranged from setting up health camps, blood donation camp, workshop and offering rehabilitation of the distressed communities. DSSB and its members worked to bridge the gap between the government and the population of the state. It identifies the needs of the community and provides its support and services in Tripura.

LEGAL STATUS OF THE ORGANISATION
Registered by the Government of Tripura under the societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860) on 16th May, 2006 under Registration No. 5041 of 2006.
As per pattern of status of the Organisation in accordance with the norms of the NGO’s, Our Organisation is a non political and non profitable state level Voluntary Social Welfare Organisation of the State of Tripura.
